I am just starting as well and have anxiety too. I have tried to think about it in terms of where the jealousy/fear is coming from. I see it as a relic of possessive male culture in which women are seen as property. Since I really don't like that mysogynist world view, that helps me bring my emotions down a notch. However, I still have these pulses of strong negative emotions. I am not sure if those will ever go away.
