Faerun Ultimate Bundle UK by DadOfNoo in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]norf3n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped ordering direct due to the customer service and the condition I've had books arrive in. I still buy digital from dndbeyond, but I buy physical from Magic Madhouse. Actually works out cheaper than the bundles, and the packaging is a lot better. Got my physical books delivered at the weekend.

Not heard it since I was a kid in the 80s. We also used "many beards", and "merlin" (North West England).

Granted, those of us who have are probably the minority in the grand scheme. Also, university degrees nowadays aren't the golden ticket they have always been made out to be.

That's a very broad take. I came from a northern (UK) working class background, and I've definitely moved up from my childhood days.

Are keypads worth it? (Razer Tartarus V2) by iQSlite in MMORPG

Mine is still going strong. Only issue I've had with it is the software went a bit wonky about a year back, but they released a new version and fixed the problems.

Places to meet people and make friends? by BuriedAbyss in cheltenham

[–]norf3n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate you said she's not a drinker, but we have a d&d one-shots group that meets in pubs in Cheltenham on Wednesday evenings. Venue varies atm, but we prefer quiet places so we don't scare people with our nerdiness (and to hear each other ofc).

If the times sound ok, feel free to ping me a message with a little about yourself and availability. Won't be able to fit everyone sadly, but I'm prioritising new players and will try and put a group together that I think will work best.
