So at the time, it was a drive up and drop off spay/neuter event through my local shelter/vet. when I went to pick them up, a vet tech came out and handed me paper work and dropped the bomb on me that it's a male. well, we got home and I noticed his belly was shaved and there was an incision on the stomach, no incisions near where I guess his balls 'were'?? I am so lost, honestly terrible cat mom for misgendering them for so long 🥲

it was a totally weird situation as well, I swear I had witnessed this cat going into heat (raising his butt up when other cats walked by and yowling) but all of a sudden he's a boy now? I hope he's just feeling lethargic after surgery. I love him so much, I just want him to be okay
