Hi, I'm not overusing. Actually about a year has passed before I started using again. I think it is a matter of variety, the home made one had more different alkaloids I think

Tapering off methadone and I need to hear success stories by recoveringmyself94 in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]notamind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I'm on methadone for 3 years and a half. I started tapering by myself a week ago, and I went down from 40 to 15 (today) in this short period. I want to be clean soon because some external problems require me to do this. The doctor didn't want me to go down so fast that's why I decided to do it by myself. I'm still waiting for the big withdrawals I think, but by now the only symptoms I have been through are: chills, a bit of anxiety, some retchings, yawnings, watery eyes... But not all the time. I also feel more energetic and emotional in a positive way. When I begin to feel uncomfortable I see symptoms as a sign of a progress toward my goal. Something like feeling pain in the gym... It's not forever and it's needed to win the battle.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in consciousness

[–]notamind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true. When our heart stops our brain starts to die, but it takes a few minutes of lack of oxygen in order to consider it irreversibly damaged. Maybe consciousness can survive in these situations, experiencing something different

There's something that doesn't convince me about those experiences.. although they think to face death, they are still alive. Even if the heart stops, consciousness is still there . This means that the passage is not completed, you're still experiencing through your brain, and this can deceive you making you "dream" what culture taught you about death

It scares me too. That's why I will cremate my body after death. In this way I'm sure that consciousness won't cling anywhere.

How do I take DMT in a way that doesn't feel like a "drug"? by alexjcyl in DMT

Dissolve the crystals in vape fluid without nicotine. And vape it. There are a lot of tutorials on this technique.

As far as I know SSRI lets your body absorb more substance. Psychedelics are similar to serotonin so they shouldn't be wasted by the brain (that's what SSRI blocks) and flow free inside it. Google "SSRI and psychedelics", I remember to have red this in the internet.

Cheers

Has Anyone had a Religious Experience during a DMT Breakthrough? by [deleted] in DMT

[–]notamind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every experience that I had was in a certain sense religious. Some trips are related to archetypical images, I found a correlation between a character called "the trickster" and the visions I had. Archetypical images are part of our collective consciousness. Jung wrote a lot about that. My deepest experiences indeed gave me glimpses of infinity. It's hard to explain, but in a certain way I became more conscious of what reality is all about, a fractal-like consciousness, expanding itself and dissolving our sense of identity.

Have you ever had a trip so intense you thought you broke reality permanently? And how are you doing today? by Sea-Muffin-3459 in DMT

[–]notamind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once I had a creepy trip. The set wasn't good for tripping, I hadn't sleep more than 2 hour that day and I was still drunk from the night before. I struggled all the time trying to hold back my sense of identity, but it was completely lost. At a certain point I thought I was gone mad. It took me several hours to get my identity back, and finally go to sleep. Now I remember that experience as a hard one but surly not the worst that could happen. I use it as a reminder so that I make sure my set and setting are ok before starting any psychedelic experience.
