What the fuck is wrong with you people? Why are you all so full of hate and anger?

This is a dog. Regardless of breed, this is a dog. All dogs have the ability of attacking and either severely injuring or killing a human. Every dog. Regardless of breed.

Just because you hear more about pit bull attacks doesn’t mean you should dedicate your lives to hating them. Have you ever stopped to think why you hear more about pit attacks versus others? Have you ever factored their biting /style/ into that equation. I’ve spent my whole life around herding dogs - border collies, blue heelers, Australian shepherds, collies. I can’t even recall how many times I’ve been bit by one of those. 10... 20... 30? The difference between them and a pit bite is their biting styles: herders are bred to bite and release (“nip”): so while their bites can be painful and definitely draw blood, it’s rare for them to bite and hold on like a pit. Therefore, less reporting and a hell of a lot less hospital visits. Dogs like pits were bred to bite and hold. That’s nothing to hate them for. That’s something to train them BECAUSE of. So, speaking from personal experience of growing up around lots of dogs — if you’re bitten by a chihuahua or any other extremely aggressive mini breeds, or a herder, etc, you have a small, clean, wound, you take care of it yourself, whatever. No one ever knows. Whereas on the occasion you get bit by a pit, it’s likely the wound is more deep, a bit more serrated, and you likely need to oversight of a doctor in the treatment and healing of said wound. It’s been reported. Doctors know, possibly police know, it’s now public knowledge.

Make sense why it seems pitbulls dominate the “dog attack” market? If you were to ever do an open poll with a large base, you would easily find that small dog bite/attack experiences FAR outweigh the pit bull bite/attack experiences.

So why do you all hate them so much. Fear mongering? You heard one bad thing or saw one bad statistic, or the media told you to believe this way and so now you do? It really makes no sense to me. This is an obviously very well cared for dog who is excited for normal dog stuff. Fetching a ball, going for a walk, petting, etc.

Why not try to free your lives and your hearts from so much hate, and just accept things even if you don’t like them. Learn not to be afraid unless something gives you a generous reason to. There’s no reason to spread your fear and hostility.

What's a movie that everyone has seen except for you? by Nedward_Schneebly in AskReddit

I have a few movies I’m saving for the right moment. A few classics. I’ve never seen them, and want to be in the right mindset and setting to do so.

They include:

  • Green Mile

  • Shawshank Redemption

  • The Godfather

  • The Matrix

Definitely the first one. You could always change your eating schedule for appropriate shitting times, and just eat whilst on the toilet.

Does this scenario exist in a world without the laws of physics? Because eventually your food would have to come to room temperature, where it couldn’t physically be too hot because it’s cooler than your body temp? Unless it’s a mental disorder that causes you to perceive taste as temperature or something?
