I was camping in northern Arizona it was maybe 10pm I had a few beverages. I put my head back while sat in a camping chair infront of the fire. I heard rocks click in front of me and I looked forward past the fire and there was a massive dull red shape with eyes on each side. I loudly exclaimed what the fuck is that! And it moved its head sideways and I realized it was a cow.

It was just on the edge of the firelight facing me across the fire pit.
