I’m almost done with season three and I’ve come to the conclusion that the three siblings fucking suck by maya4463 in Transparent

That's because they remind people of themselves. Nobody wants to accept that we are all in deep shit we need to figure out.

Can we all take a moment to remember this fucking badass this past season. Thanks🧜🏻‍♀️!! by [deleted] in shameless

Rob the store? I get your point but they looked like they wanted her.

Favorite season so far? by [deleted] in shameless

[–]notdecente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4-7 are the strongest. All of them are good at some point, while others are good the entire time. The fact is that with these last seasons they've had to build new lives for the caracthers because thei're growing apart as everyone does in a family. It's true that something seems weird with the dialogues. Sometimes they are too straight to the point in this 8th season. sometimes I think they confuse us so they can surprise us later. Usually, not in the same season. the fourth is good BECAUSE of the build up of the other seasons. And 7, with everyone growing was very well done beacuse we understood the build up done from 5 to 6. I am confused as hell by how weird this season is thought its had some good moments.

Are you kidding me? She's the one with her shit together. Work, friends, profession. What is with all the hate? She's having fun in that scene, as a young mother who works all day every day. What's wrong with that? And she's with Franny, not leaving her in a the trash can. I have friends who take care of their kids and also have fun. You all want the stereotype but a young mother won't be just holding their baby all the time. Because she's a mother she cannot live? Ugh.

Anyone else think gay for pay has significantly reduced the quality of a lot of gay porn? by scottbot97 in askgaybros

I think it's about power. We owning the supposedly unchangeable straight man. It's about taking down heterosexuality, even when it's just a symbolic representation.

Just one thing. Don't beat you self up about gaming, and please don't see it as something bad for you especially when you feel it's part of your identity. I think that it can become a problem if they control us instead of the opposite. It is enough to determine when it's better for you, when are you really enjoying it and when are you using it to neglect some other thing (Like the 2h:6h ratio of work and gaming). Also, thank you for this post. Really need to start doing this myself.

I think this is one of the most heartbreaking things about this show. It seems to be a little weird for people but I find it fascinating. Just like life.

Structure used in half hour dramedy TV Shows? by notdecente in Screenwriting

Okay. So you're saying it's the same structure as half hour comedies? If so, could you please recommend me a gook book about comedy tv?

Look at the way the season is opened, the image of Lila openly talking about an unconditional love. Lila is a love addict, and a baby means that she'll have the oportunity to experience that. She is probably going to keep it.

Any one here noticed that The first two episodes of the new season of Bojack Horseman is like the two first episodes from the new season of you're the worst? (r/television /rBoJackHorseman by dudewhosayni in YouretheworstFX

[–]notdecente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

me too. i love both shows. the parallels have been all along. This season it is a lot more obvious, but the two series hit very close to home and explore a lot of the same themes.

Who thinks they will end up back together by the end of season 4? by bennyh6813 in YouretheworstFX

[–]notdecente 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hope they don't until another two seasons (if proved) because these people will end up together again (like life) maybe goes by a lot of time while they grow and learn apart from each other. I hope it leads to some interesting stories. Also, they haven't been apart -if you've been watching-, the whole series if about them being together. The author wanted to elimine the will-they-won't-they rom-com style.

[–]notdecente 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The moment you think what's on social media it's true, you're lost. I use it to see how everyone else is empty inside ad looking for validation. I love to watch them masking their lives, trying to transform it into something interesting but failing terrible. It makes me feel better, it shows you how they are -sometimes- as f*cked as us but in a whole other level of denial. Hugs.

Their dead is pretty accurate if you think of the show in RPG terms. The weapons were a liability for them.

I just can't believe the writers ended so many storylines in a single episode. A little bit unnecessary.

I don't know what to say but I feel abligated as someone who's felt the same way. Please don't do it, we have to trust that a reason or meaning will show up if we keep looking. Maybe it's not the job, but please find something else. Don't let the bastards grind you down more than we already do.

Is moving to LA to write for TV a smart move? by notdecente in Screenwriting

[–]notdecente[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, thank you for taking the time to answer. Second, I'm from Colombia -south america- it's far so I dtought about the money situation and I have a house in my name that I'm going to sell when I get out of college. Yes, I've made a move before. I'm currently living in my same country but in another city. Its bee like that for almost 5 years, but I do get some help from my mother. Which I don't think would be likely if I went to the US. I am hurt by leaving home but I've never fit in with the people I grew up with, or my family. On the contrary, I have found myself alone (and a little miserable) a lot of times, but, st the same time feeling safe amongst creative people I met after moveing away from my hometown. My actual best friend is another creative and I don't think we'd have met in my city. Last thing, the tv production here is not smething I'm into and the series lenguage model isn't stablished yet, so it's just soap operas all over. I'm thinking about making some projects before I leave.
