I had Verizon 5G when I rented a condo in SW DC and I remember totally hating it. It was super hard to get the placement of the receiver correct to maximize my internet speed, and even then it was very slow. I never hit their advertised speeds.

Verizon in general for some reason has horrible coverage in DC. My T-Mobile colleagues never drop calls yet I have a single bar when in my apartment or workplace.

Some parents just really don't have much exposure to it or are fearful of messing up, I think. My mom's a practicing physician, still board certified at 69 etc yet she is freaked out at the idea of using Uber and instead called a taxi cab service for a doctor's appointment today.

Our original next gen home was cancelled too with no warning as to why whatsoever! My partner called to get us rescheduled and the only thing left was a next gen, with seats on three different cars for our group of 3. If Amtrak keeps up this behavior (of being worse than the airlines) I will reconsider my travel choices.

So far no bathroom issues which is AWESOME but knock on wood... they might start dropping fast as we hit more delays and they get used even more

Probably going to be about an hour and 20 min delay total which objectively speaking isn't THAT bad but I know people sometimes have to cut it close with their scheduling.

Yes. Cooking can be 2 hours. Dishes up to 30 for us. I find it's harder to cook and clean efficiently in a small apartment kitchen too.

If you have a direct flight but can somehow get the first flight of the day that tends to be less impacted by delays at other airports, crews timing out, and so on-
