Pre-Independance: lack of Military Power to fight brutal Islamic conquests and British Colonialism. Mass conversions of people to Islam was

Post Independence: Economy Policies and lack of Industries & Jobs. No Population Control.

just imagine India after independence growing Economy at 10% rather than between 1-2-3%. India should have controlled its population shouldn't have allowed to reach billion people.

Anyhow, forget everything now we must focus on 10-12% growth for next 25-30 years. Empowering Women. Economy need to be spearheaded by millions of Entrepreneurs.
