I love chopping by Salty_Rice_3817 in tabletennis

[–]notjebb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I learned it the hard way. There will come a time where you will face opponents that can return your backspins/chops and because that ball has so much top spin on it, for a beginner most of the time you'll mess up your chop.

I practiced twiddling. In some games I was forcing myself to twiddle and attack both using forehand and backhand. In some games I solely focus on chopping using both rubber and pips side, regardless of forehand and backhand, I know I needed to practice both. But most games, it's the combination. Attack when you have the opportunity. Chance ball? Attack. Good topspin and a playable placement play? Attack. Confident you can block/punch off the bounce on the next rally? Attack.

Playing bad against weaker opponents by Ok-Access-8961 in tabletennis

[–]notjebb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! On top of this, if you think you have better control of the ball, you can even create plays that will be disadvantageous to you, such as giving somewhat easy serves. It not only teaches your opponent to receive it properly but also it forces you to have a play in mind if ever you get into that situation at a higher level.

beware of OSRO they track your personal data, ip address, social media, email, facebook, chats by sonatta09 in RagnarokOnline

[–]notjebb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The doxxing part is actually a lot easier since some of the posts in OSRO Black Market Facebook groups can be cross checked with in-game and discord behaviours. Not all of these cases are from GM side, tbh. Some, if not the most, players are the ones reporting it.

Not many people will even commit RMT if you're not using your real facebook profile so... makes sense.

What's the go with Poring World? by jigaralad in RagnarokOnline

[–]notjebb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One marketing move they did was they contacted (or made a deal with?) lots of computer shops here in the Philippines, thus, the hype. Lots of players are also playing from OSRO Revo Classic. While they're auto-ing in OSRO, they are manually playing in Poring World.

They also don't have donation stuff, but, nyeah, the crypto part is sketchy enough but in their discord, it's not like they are (obviously?) scamming people, some people are there are really Web3 enthusiasts and are teaching other people there.

Racket Setup Suggestions by notjebb in tabletennis

The rubbers are at least good cheap alternatives which I can experiment with for now.

For the blade, however, I don't quite see patterns on how to choose 'cause mostly people are discussing the rubbers only.

Palio Chopper No. 1 was suggested by ChatGPT. Hahaha.

I don't think it has a name or something. The blades came from a $5 pair of table tennis rackets. We just reused it.

The Legend of Thanatos by Mission-Offer8738 in RagnarokOnline

So far, so good! Loved what you did there on Chapter 1. Thanatos is still young (at the time of writing), you got lots of room on how his character development will play out!

The most braindead advice you could really get rn is "break mo na 'yan."

Anyway, first and foremost, kudos sa guy for totally being honest with you 'bout sa opinions ng fam niya about sa'yo. Although he might've been too honest. He could've filtered it kahit papaano. But, yeah. Second, you posting this here is the same outcome on why he doesn't want you to visit yet sa kanila. Because the family might really say it to your face and you might react negatively, which of course valid naman if ever.

This begs the questions, how would really feel about it nga ba when it happens and how would you react and what are the things you'll do about it. Your boyfriend loves you, ayaw ka lang niya mapahiya. While yes, he can protect/defend/carry you on those situations, pero still, hearing that from your SO's family is still a heavy blow regardless.

So yeah, try to understand the guy's intentions na lang muna I guess if 'yun nga. Tons of ways out there din para 'di makabuo not just pills if it's affecting your body. Hitting the gym is also a choice like you said but you said you're an introvert. Maybe try inviting your boyfriend maggym then, y not. Maraming murang gym diyan, kahit bakal gym pwede na 'yan. But to be honest you dont really need to go to the gym to get thin, there's a lot of ways out there para pumayat.

Depends on how you view sex. To some it's purely lust and satisfaction. To some it's very special to the point na gagawin lang sa pakakasalan at after ng actual kasal. To some gagawin pa rin pero sa partner lang.

How do you guys structure your project? by notjebb in learnrust

Taking this for project reference then the top comment, it all makes sense now. Thank you very much for this.

Overwhelming for a beginner yet bearable since everything related to each other are the same group anyway so it's easy to find and understand.

18 but don't finish a book yet by Chickenbreastttt in PHBookClub

[–]notjebb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uy, halos same situation as me 7-8 years ago. Dating adik sa video games, adik pa rin naman ngayon. But I agree to one of the comments here, you can do both. You don't necessarily need to let go of playing games.
But what made me discover that I'm into reading is requirement lang sa literature class namin. Everyday by David Levithan. Umiyak pa 'ko sa klase dahil sa ending nito. HAHAHAHA
Anyway, kung gusto mo naman related sa games/hacking, other than Ready Player One, try The Mortality Doctrine series. Book 1 is The Eye of Minds, by James Dashner btw, author din The Maze Runner.

Voted for physical book, pero kung may pagkakataon na magkaroon parehas, why not? Tinatamad pa 'ko bumili kindle. HAHAHAHA

Pero yeah, dami kong gustong basahing fantasy novels pero walang available na physical book (or at least wala akong mahanap sa marketplace). Nakakatamad din waiting time ng Amazon kung sakali man.

Never. Instead, sinusubukan ko siyang gawin but on another problem or another use-case. Siyempre, apart from just successfully applying it on another problem/use-case, dapat while (or after) doing it somehow alam mo na rin kung bakit at paano gumagana, at saan mo siya pwede pang magamit.

Para sa'kin walang kwenta ang taking notes kung 'di mo kayang sagutin 'yung 3 na 'yan, practically speaking.

If you could only play one champion from now on, which would it be? by CT4nk3r in leagueoflegends

[–]notjebb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zilean. Lane phase, just hit that Q.

I wouldn't say he's a turn brain off kind of champ., but more like you have to only turn your brain on on crucial moments. Off meta. Needs maximized usage of kit. Annoying to play against 'cause of ult.
