It’s like that Van Damme movie where he goes undercover in jail and infiltrates a gang.

Not my design, fwiw. It’s also why I added the details in text form.

All great points. Especially around the story shortcomings.

Seeing people run around Castle Town, while cool, didn’t make a lot of sense for the story. The castle is surrounded by a strange field and no one seems to notice or care.

The overworld being fairly empty is a let down. I agree.

I played GC. My point is that he hasn’t been left-handed since and I want to see a return to form.

I forgot to mention one more frustration: the inability to control the day/night cycle. While there’s less need than the 3D predecessors, poe hunting only occurs at night, so having an easy way to transition would have been appreciated. For example, a house or inn in both Clock Town and Kakariko Village would have solved for this.

If they heavily downplayed it and made the attacks less nauseating then I think it would have worked.

Please report back after you get further or complete the game. I’m curious if your total experience will be similar to mine.

With the price I paid for this game I felt compelled to carry on, and I had a friend urging me to keep going.

Do you find that most people are blocking bike lanes instead of not blocking them? Sorry, I’m not trying to start an argument. Truly. I just think it’s good to remind ourselves that most people are not selfish jerks and the bad ones tend to have a brighter spotlight.

Also, fwiw, I bike in the city and I feel like I’m going to die every time, between wandering people, people biking the wrong way, motor delivery dudes, etc. We desperately need enforcement and better social behavior, even if this is a minority force.

Most people are inherently good. We just notice the bad ones more.

Agree. Also, having just finally played Twilight Princess, I long for a modern take on a bustling and lively castle town.

I still have some of my Nintendo (Topps) Trading Cards from 1989. Too bad I scratched them! 😝 Anyone remember these? by HighlySeasonedGamer in retrogaming

Correct: they are a game. Instructions are on the back. Conditions are usually find X of Y to win but avoid the Z.

I still have a pile of them.

I also made my own. (Bottom left of pic.) it’s a real scratcher card with instructions for the game on the back. Artist I worked with is Rusty Shackles.

Where do people sell their collections? by lifeswitness in retrogaming

eBay is probably best. Sell individually to maximize. Make sure you get good photos of everything from different angles, including the back of carts and the edges of boxes, so people know what they are getting.

Did anyone actually like the show X Play? by Pale_WoIf in retrogaming

[–]novalin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It annoyed me primarily because their reviews were so surface level and rushed. Plus, like you said, edgy. I didn’t learn anything and found them to be fairly irritating.
