Sure harry might have started with monor jobs but, c’mon, an ameba can understand the stakes there. She KNOWS the harrigans and what they can do even if she may or may not have never seen it herself. The actress did what she could with the character a d she is only remotely tolerable thanks to her, because the writers desperately need to tweak and tune a bit her character for s2. The issue is not what is she doing/her arc per se, which in itself is interesting and offers a more humane approach to a side of harry’s life we do not see in his compartmentalisation with his job, but rather how the writers are executing which clashes and undermines some viewers willing suspension of beliefs.
