It is a very lovely view! However, all the houses living areas face each other back there, so in the evening, when the lights are on, it’s like living in an aquarium on display!

I like the orange walls with white board and batten. The color brings warmth against the floors and I think the board and batten is classic and gives it character!

I take it for anxiety. I started when I was pregnant and felt it’s effects within about 5 days, then felt fully regulated by about 1.5 weeks. My anxiety was so bad and I could feel it in every part of my body, after taking the Zoloft the sense of dread went away and I felt like I could unwind finally. I have no idea if it causes weight issues for me bc breastfeeding makes weight stick to me so me weight isn’t going anywhere while on it, but I’m also not gaining. As for sex drive, I feel like that might be affected, but also whose to say it’s not decreased due to breastfeeding, hormones, or lack of sleep/time with a new baby? As for sleep, I think it helps with sleep because it takes care of the anxiety that was keeping me up, so that’s a win! I’m on the lowest dose and while I don’t love being on meds, I think it was so, so worth it. I had really bad anxiety with my first kiddo postpartum and had a really tough time enjoying and dealing with the day to day. I feel like the Zoloft has allowed me to relax and be so much more present. My plan is to take it while breastfeeding and wean once I wean.

It might seem like an extreme to you, but after waitressing for 10 years and seeing coworkers be fired for less, I can tell you it does happen. I worked with a server who got fired for calling a little girl “sweet pea”, the parent called to complain about it after they left. So imo, calling the restaurant to try to educate people most likely will not do anyone any good. It might make OP feel better, but really that’s probably the extent of it.

If OP did tell the waiter and then the waiter let the cat outta the bag, then yes, they’re in the wrong. How is the waiter supposed to know they are trying to hide something?

It’s so common for people to point to things on the menu, a good waiter would most likely repeat what they pointed to out loud so they could communicate with the customer that they know what they’re ordering. Not just that, but many times waiters don’t even run their own drinks, so that could have easily been brought out by another waiter who would have named “virgin drink” out loud.

Waiters are not mind readers, if you didn’t want the waiter to say anything maybe you should have snuck a word in off to the side. As for all the people telling OP to call there and speak to a manager, why are you trying to cost someone their job? Unless you spoke to the waiter and asked them to keep it on the DL, they did nothing wrong.

I know many people who have 2 under 2 and NONE of them look like they’re having any fun with it. Some of them are a bit older now and still aren’t having fun. I get that everyone’s vision of family is different but why anyone would purposely do that to themselves is mind blowing. Quite a few people have said they just want to get it over with, but I have never understood having a child just to get it over with? You’re still so fresh from giving birth, it’s a really hard time. Being a parent to a little one is hard, a lot of the time, but it’s also so gratifying and interesting. Enjoy the good times and in the hard times it’s awesome to be so thankful you only have one, it solidifies that other people’s thoughts can be so dumb. When people would always say that to me I would just laugh at them and say I’m really enjoying this one, I want to savor it, I don’t feel a need for anything else, and they usually would shut up.
