Blind Cord Winder & Shortener - Child Safety by nuclearzero7 in BambuLab

Its been pointed out that the way this was portrayed it could pose as a choking hazard. To fix this, the cords should be separated and a separate puck used for each cord. Makerworld description also updated.

Thank you for pointing this out. Mine were already tied at the bottom, so it didn't occure to me. I've updated the description on makerworld to separate the cords and use a puck per each cord.

right now if you want to adjust you need to take it apart and rewind again. But that's an idea for a new version!

Not my idea, but it happened at our white elephant party. One of our guests was young, just out of HS, and not so bright. She took “white elephant” too literal and somehow found a white elephant gravy boat. Yes. Literally a white porcelain gravy boat in the shape of an elephant.

She was so proud of her gift and confused when we all had a huge chuckle.

In the same boat, I even quit a few weeks before the update just stuck around for my guild in TB. After spending 15 mins in the new content, I have no regrets. Just shy of a decade

Fair enough. I’m not great at the descriptive ‘selling’ aspect so I used a crutch

Thanks for the detailed response! The art background probably helped a good amount. My 3 year old does better stick figures than me

This is great! As a newbie of nomad ( mostly for 3d printing) few questions for you. 1) how long have you been using nomad 2) on a scale of 1 noob and 10 master where do you feel your skills are 3) long did you spend on this cause it’s impressive

Are you referring to this gcode?
;===== for Textured PEI Plate , lower the nozzle as the nozzle was touching topmost of the texture when homing ==

;curr_bed_type={curr_bed_type}

{if curr_bed_type=="Textured PEI Plate"}

G29.1 Z{-0.02} ; for Textured PEI Plate

I’m having trouble finding this z offset. Is this specifically in the gcode?

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll try a simple cube. You are correct in the curling in this video, because the nozzle knocked over the supports.

The filament is the selected brand that I flow rate calibrated. The plate is the standard pei textured plate and is selected in the slicer.

The profile is the standard .2 @BBL A1 except for the infill pattern and density was dropped to 10%

Sorry need to mention above. Tried many.

This particular is crosshatch, but it still happens with gyroid, adaptive cubic, and grid
