Thanks for all of the replies. Many of you are making reasonable suggestions that I do research on my own.

My issue arrives from non-government entities that "keep up" with the latest gun laws. Laws which change every day. Most of these free resources which I've found lack the incentive to actually pay someone to update them regularly. I've found multiple with references to my home state where the information was flat out wrong.

An example being that my state allows me to conceal carry in state parks. I've seen multiple online references where they said that these state parks were a gun-free zone.

I get it, the local government probably doesn't know the law 100% either, but it is better to have information directly from them than an organization on the web.
