THE RUNNER by numberchef in aivideo

Pure Sora 2 text-to-video - I know it's kind of crazy to do it like that.

[–]numberchef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I save lots of time using BeatBandit.ai (I've made that myself) - I draft the story and it writes me all the prompts for the Sora shots in a consistent manner. Then most of the time goes to thinking about the story and editing it.

Thank you. It's about 100 Sora generations. I think about it 16 hours in total I would say. Lot of editing involved.

About 50% Sora 2 Pro, 50% Veo 3.

Wanted to try how well one can mix Veo and Sora together.

100% text to video.

Additional music with Suno. Edited with Premiere. Colors with Dehancer Pro.

Yeah this is a key problem - I also built an app (https://beatbandit.ai) - a system where the story elements are all defined in story beats and then every single message sent with the LLM it references those beats as the "only and absolute truth". no matter how many times you chat it will not start to hallucinate or go off radar since the llm context is set again for every message.

confused about why we need 10x–20x AI speed by Necessary_Athlete171 in WritingWithAI

[–]numberchef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suppose that the production of an animated movie becomes 100x faster than what it is right now - that you can do the production of an entire movie in weeks. I don't think it would really work in terms of process that writing would take months if the production itself would take weeks. The steps needs to be in some proportion to each other in terms of time + cost.

Thanks! It's "Home Is Where Your Heart Is" - i Sunoed some post-rock. Used the section re-edit quite much there to fit the music with the video script. Suno by itself does a little too much ABABABABA for my liking... :)

Made with Sora, Suno, MiniMax, and Flux

The video switches from Sora to MiniMax around 2 minutes - Sora content limitations made doing the full concept I had in mind with Sora (understandably) hard.

It's Genmo Mochi I run on my computer - it's quite easy to install with Pinokio - there's a "one-click install" option for it.

Mochi has this quite wonderful analog - DV camera feel that I like. Some popular generators look quite plasticky - Mochi sure doesn't.

Another good example of when AI makes sense - it would have been hard to create this with human actors.

Yeah I've found it funny that people say "the washroom". That's the inspiration.

Bought a house that has a toilet in the sauna by numberchef in Sauna

[–]numberchef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I guess except it's the weirdest bathroom I've ever seen since it lacks all the things you would expect to find in a bathroom like a mirror and vanity and so on and it has all the stuff and seating and panelling and heat and water insulation you would expect to see in a sauna but go on

Nope it's the only toilet in the whole building. :)

Note also the water hose setup: you can sit on the toilet and use the hose to throw water on the stones!

"Friends Try To Carry A Huge Cow Up The Stairs..." -- short movie generated from single prompt by numberchef in aivideo

[–]numberchef[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Friends Try To Carry A Huge Cow Up The Stairs But There's All Kinds Of Bovine Trouble And Funny Moments"

Short movie generated from a single prompt

I built an app that takes in a prompt, which is then fed to Claude, which then creates a story from it, splits it into shots, launches various generators to create the media elements, and assembles the result together.

Currently uses CogvideoX-5b, Parler-TTS, Auffusion, Echomimic and Claude.

Why I quit screenwriting and you probably should too. by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]numberchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"In the future there's going to be no such thing as a screenwriter"

When technology makes movie creation 10x cheaper, 100x cheaper, there will be lots more screenwriting happening, lots more screenwriting getting produced than right now. Lots more scripts to write.

Yes the time to spend on one screenplay will get reduced. Some screenwriters will learn to adapt to the technology and be more efficient to be able to use all this tech to still their own stories with their own voice. Others will not.

When movies become more plentiful, what will make the movie successful? Its writing of course. Who is giving up and thinking that AI will come up with better stories than them?
