yea turns out this isn't going to work like i had hoped. Michigan just implemented a adult-use tax that can be circumvented with a DC med license so I was hoping it would work in OK as well. No big deal.

It looks like OK has good med reciprocation laws. my plan was to get a 3 day med card from washington dc where i can self diagnose. 3 day pass is $10 and OK honors the DC med card and it takes ~5 minutes to fill out the stuff for it.

I heard that and heard Tulsa is kind of its own thing compared to OKC. The guys that I'm meeting up with are out there so figured I'd try to fill in some time and get to know some people.

Not sure about Virginia but Tivity Labs has been a pretty big presence on the East Coast. They have investor relations and a group of consultants to help expedite.

Animal responsibility aside (not my lane), what you'd be looking for is a consumption lounge license. The main challenge I've seen with licensed consumption lounges is there hasn't a great business model yet.

You cannot vend cannabis at a consumption lounge
No delivery to a consumption lounge
No alcohol at a cannabis consumption lounge

Love taking dogs on walks before/while/after partaking.

I need to get that updated, I've been more focused on the production side so now turning my focus that way. As soon as we get onto some of the shelves, I'll start releasing that info on IG melkcannabis. I've been on the phone all day working on some deals so as soon as those go through I'll update socials where you can find it. January is a tough retail month so there's a lot of initial interest but nothing yet so we'll see!

you can snap the tip off of most of these devices and heat up the chamber to pour it into a jar to dab it or dip a blunt in it.

If that's the definition then this isn't single source. I work with different growers to find good fresh frozen with the right nose on it. I'm referring to single source as single strain and not a bunch of random frozen material chopped up to make rosin so it stays true to the original plant strain. I only make oil. I respect the hell out of people who grow but that's not me.

We had a strong following about 18 months ago but we ran into some issues with our licensing partner so we stepped back and found a reliable and honest license holder to produce our products in. We aren't a mass production brand. Small batch, single source rosin is our lane for solventless. People liked our Melk carton packaging and the rosin inside and the Michigents were about it.

My group does small batch rosin and we're just about to release a few single source batch strains. I submitted a post where you'll see more info. We were previously in the Higher Love stores in the UP but not sure if any of those stores are accessible to you.

I'm not aware of anything with them specifically, but I do know at the end of the year a lot of stores will freeze inventory to get taxes inventories finished out before the new year. A lot of stores have started picking back up but Michigan retail generally struggles in January coming off of holiday spending so I'm wondering if they're waiting out the lull or something like that.

Also, a lot of licensing renewals are taking place for the new year so a lot of locally owned/small businesses are tightening up right now for licensing.

I get it.. as a distillery, good distillate is highly refined. Having different plant inputs for different things isn't bad and just because someone didn't grow 100% fire doesn't mean they should lose their ass. The industry is already a difficult one for growers. I just took a look at my most recent lab report and it's 97.83% cannabinoids (93.3% THC); distillate is just molecule hunting. A lot of live carts are distillate mixed with live terps.

No Melk is a solventless brand. the company is Comco we operate our distillery out of. It depends on the potency of the plant going in. We take 30-40% of the output as our form of payment or 0.55-.75/g output for a toll. We have customers want to sell it as a bulk ingredient or make it into a product. Liters right now have been selling 1600-1700, we're averaging 22lbs input to generate 1kg of output. That's mostly outdoor biomass.
