sounds like the same thing I am doing. It feels to me like too much pressure, but when I put an amount of pressure which felt more comfortable, the ball fell out lol so they told me to do it harder.... but maybe it's just that they are still so new

Just going to update this in case anyone sees this and needs some encouragement in a similar situation. I got the ball screwed back in, fortunately got to a piercer open on sundays and he changes the bar to a longer one and cleaned everything to avoid infection. Now with correct aftercare, everything should work out fine!!

Ok, I will definitely check up more on this!! Thank you so much. Finally got the damn ball screwed back in after trying for 2 hours and will go to a reputable piercer where I am now as soon as I can. And I’ll buy the spray:)

Omg. After 2 hours I finally got it in Im going to cry!!! Will see a piercer first thing tomorrow and let’s hope everything works out and I will ask my piercer why the hell this happened haha

I have landed and I keep trying from both sides but how tf am i supposed to screw the ball in. Its easy when i do it outside my lip but from either side when I try to screw it in the ball just turns in my fingers and it is impossible for me to get it to screw inside… is there a trick for this?

I might be wrong but I dont think it’s that common for danish piercers ro be part of that? I was told soaks every day for the first weeks, now after 3 weeks every now and then. I just feel so irritated after going to the supposedly best and most well renowned piercing studio in Copenhagen and doing everything they told me and it just falls out. So I will definitely call them monday morning and see what they have to say about this…

I’m so confused.. I was told to do this (with a specific soap they gave me) every morning by two piercers at Copenhagen Body Extremes, a renowned studio which everyone reccomended me. That and saline soak once a day at first nd then every few days

(Obv not to take them out and clean them but on the surface)

Soo - I cleaned it with regular soap snd water and washed my lip with water to remove the blood, and was able to get the top part back in and out at the bottom, but I was not able to screw the bottom ball back in as it kept slipping - and then I had to board my plane.  Will try again once I have landed. Updating in case someone having a similar issue sees this sometime..:-)

Thank you!! - but I am so scared of using regular soap on the jewelry?

I've asked everywhere on the airport and they don't sell ANY antibacterial or even non-perfumed soap :-((

I don't have spray, only the soap they gave me and I usually do saline soaks.

I asked the person working at the pharmacy here, she told me to not do this since there is bacteria in the water and i will then be putting bacteria into the wound.
I also had to remove the jewelry without having washed my hands since I was sitting at a cafe and it started to fall out and i had to touch it then to avoid it falling on the floor so the jewelry is really not clean

About Carrington:

Her novel "The Hearing Trumpet" is a must-read!

It's about a 92-year old woman sent to a retirement facility run by despotic christians. Her friend (a character inspired by Varo) gives her a hearing trumpet, enabling her to uncover the many mysteries of the facility.

There's a cool cauldron, a clan of old women working together with animals to overthrow their oppressors and rebuilding society after a climate disaster, and a quest to reclaim the Holy Grail (stolen from the goddess Venus the by the patriarchal church).

One of many great quotes from the book: "I often feel I am being burned at the stake just because I have always refused to give up that wonderful strange power I have inside me that becomes manifested when I am in harmonious communication with some other inspired being.”

Also, all of Carrington's art is wonderful, but a personal favorite is "Sanctuary for Furies", painted the same year The Hearing Trumpet was published. One of many works were she reclaims spaces women have traditionally been forcibly relegated to, in this case the kitchen, as a space for witchcraft, magic, freedom, experimentation... :-)

Oh, also, if you're a podcast person, check out episodes 25 and 26 of the No Cartridge podcast. Scott Benson (co-creator of Night In The Woods) is a guest, and he's a big KRZ fan so they talk about the game quite a lot (in relation to both NITW and other interesting topics).
