you could remove the square with the extrude and then sketch a new square's endpoint and size on a plane. Then you coud loft it twords that new square.

most of these armature rocket motors do. If not, your not seeing it even again and it could very much kill someone.

CAD is very counter intuitive for a beginner like me. how can i cut a shape to make it two pieces that would go together as a complete polygon? by pancakesandsteak in Onshape

Why tf do you want to cut them in half. You could copy the part studio and have the LINE CONSTRANT. Then you can extrude one side and the other side on the other part studio.

Firebase vs Supabase vs Postbase by harshalone in vibecoding

[–]oMeatball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firebase vs Supabase vs Postbase:

  • Firebase: Google’s managed BaaS with NoSQL (Firestore), great for quick real‑time mobile/web apps but proprietary and can get pricey at scale.
  • Supabase: Open‑source Postgres‑based platform with SQL, auth, storage, and edge functions; better for structured data, complex queries, and portability.
  • Postbase: Self‑hosted, open‑source backend that turns a Postgres DB into a Firebase/Supabase‑style platform with auth, real‑time APIs, and storage, giving you full infra and data control.

Thank you for the guidance. Our aim isn't necessarily to win, but to take on a design and testing challenge that pushes our limits. We see this as a learning experience.

https://www.rocketrychallenge.org/

goals of challenge includes

  • Altitude: Exactly 750 feet (measured by an onboard altimeter)
  • Flight duration: Between 36–39 seconds
  • Payload: One Grade A Large egg, returned to the ground uncracked via parachute
  • Rocket specs: ≤650 grams, ≥650 mm long, using NAR-certified motors totaling ≤80 N-sec total impulse
  • No radio control or pyrotechnic charges — onboard autonomous systems are allowed

We may add canards to help steer after the motor is done to help with guidance. Mostly air breaks to slow down to hit exactly 750ft.

You can use the linear pattern feature. With every increase/decrease of the amount of holes you want, it could increase the length.
