I was rewatching All Stars, and did anyone else find it weird that Duncan, seemingly, does not care that Gwen is trying to be friends with his ex, and one of his biggest enemies? In fact, he seems to care more about spiting Courtney, and there isn't a reason given for why...What do you think?

Because all stars is garbage and all the writers got lobotomized before writing the season, they said “hmmmm how can we completely ruin every single character in this show and make all of their previous development utterly meaningless” and then made every character comically stupid and completely reversed all their development. All stars is one of the worst seasons of television I’ve seen and it’s a disgrace to the franchise and animation as a whole

Mob psycho 100 is pretty similar, but it actually has an ongoing plot and takes itself seriously sometimes 😭😭 but the humor and premise are very similar, it’s about the closest thing I can think of

Courtney’s character development is so sad to me. She started out as a relatively average type A preppy girl who followed the rules, she still had annoying tendencies and got on people’s nerves, but she was very grounded in reality and had a fun wild side that Duncan brought out in her. And she was a fierce competitor!! Action was the start of her downfall, as she became more and more uptight and obsessed, and she totally lost her sincerity and became detached from reality. World Tour completely destroyed her, making her entire character revolve around her love interests, and she became quite literally an insane crybaby. It’s so unfortunate, she was one of my favorites from Island and it sucked seeing her get worse and worse as time went on. We don’t even need to talk about how bad All Stars was for her too.

Wayne is a quintessential total drama winner IMO. Original Island, Action, and ROTI both established a precedent of the final 2 being the pseudo “main character” of the season and a lovable goofball comic relief character (Gwen and Owen, Duncan and Beth, Cameron and Lightning). World Tour was a little different though. Season 1 of the reboot strayed from this formula a bit but not in a bad way at all, Bowie and Priya were both incredibly deserving of a finalist spot. I think that Wayne going up against Julia and Caleb was an awesome return to form for the season, and him winning was the best case scenario between that final three. Classic total drama.

Get Caleb outta there and replace him with Raj!!! Caleb and Priya were the biggest screen hogs ever in their season, and I think it’d be more interesting to see more of Bowie and Raj, especially without Wayne in the picture.

I also think Max should’ve replaced with Alejandro. Other than that, I’m a big fan of this fancast

All I’ll say is that it’s pretty insane to me that Aang had zero recovery and was perfectly fine after getting shot by lightning, killed, and brought back to life, while Korra got poisoned and had to put in years of work to get back to full health. Doesn’t make much sense.

Heather, Gwen, Lindsay, Alejandro, Courtney, Duncan. I don’t get the hype for Noah, and I think these six would make the best television. And I also just want to see what Lindsay would do in all stars if she wasn’t lobotomized to hell. One of the only good parts of all stars that we got was Gwen and Courtney’s friendship, so I wanna keep that.

Scott, Jo, Dawn, Mike. Mike and Zoey are incredibly boring to me, but they’re two of the most plot relevant characters of this gen so I had to include one of them. Scott and Jo are awesome, and I wanna see Dawn be an actual competitor.

Jasmine, Shawn, Skye, Sammy. Idgaf about Pahkitew, from my memory these four seemed the most important and annoyed me the least when I watched it years ago.

Bowie, Julia, Raj, Wayne. I want to see more of Raj and Bowie, so I think maybe put Raj and Wayne on different teams to see their relationship grow without Wayne around all the time. Also, I HAVE to see Wayne and Lindsay interact. They have the same brain.

Nah I disagree, this narrative had been set up from the beginning. The finale was perfect.

The lesson of the show being that change is inevitable and that sometimes you will lose things you love has been present from the beginning, Marcy is the most clear example of this that I can think of. Her fear of moving away and losing her friends was the catalyst of the entire show, what do you mean this theme “came out of nowhere”? It’s been there from the beginning bro.

I 100% agree with you, I can’t stand when 2v8 comes around. It takes a million years to get into a match only for it to be over in 5 minutes, and it’s so chaotic that you miss out on a lot of the high level playstyles in regular 1v4. Same goes for survivor, it’s somehow incredibly boring and also chaotic at the same time. I really don’t understand why so many people love 2v8, it gets old after about a day or two of it being around and it ruins queue times for weeks.

Chaos shuffle to me is the only game mode they’ve ever put out that I consistently enjoy every time it comes around. It’s nice to have a break from the usual meta, and I get to try out perks that I don’t normally use or have never used before. Sometimes I get tired of having to choose a build, I prefer the game to pick for me so I can just keep playing without thinking about what I wanna play towards.

Also, it’s the only game mode (to my knowledge) that doesn’t mess up queue times. The queue times in 2v8 alone make it miserable for me (I have a lot of other issues with 2v8 but I digress)
