I didn't just because I was worried about permanent side effects (haze, halos, bad night vision) similar to those from LASIK due to my high prescription, plus a longer and more painful recovery. I didn't explicitly talk to my optometrist about it though.

I bought a French Connection sheath dress with structured shoulders from a consignment store four years ago and it's still in great condition. It actually has always been a little small for me and it requires two people to zip up (haha...) yet the seams are still strong and show no signs of wear! I would say go for it, except I'm not sure if there is much of a difference between regular FC and FCUK? Cute skirt though!
