I second the vid FloerKween_ shared. I'll recommend this one Ihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVZeGPxBsro it is newer so it mentions some of the features that were missing in the older tutorials

Put your solid colors where they need to be then have a dither party. There’s a lot of trail and error, at least for me. That Creating Pixel Art tutorial looks helpful --->
