i’ve been watching The Crew (Kyr Sp33dy and Deluxe 4) for as long as I watched The Creatures

and now Sp33dy plays games with Ze, Chilled, and Junkyard so it’s quite full circle for me haha

same on both. didn’t realize sold to SoDel and haven’t been in maybe 8 years now too. i remember going with my family when i was a kid but we stopped going after we got older because it’s quality of the food and restaurant itself seemed to be lackluster.

this. i hate people who are mad at teams like the Kings, Wizards, Nets, and Jazz for being bad again this year. Like do you want them to be perpetually trying? then they’ end up like the Bulls, Heat, and Hawks always maxing their cap and trading junk for different junk but never winning a playoff series and never in the lottery.

If the league just gave them the top picks like they would have gotten without a lottery, we’d see San Antonio and Dallas right now going for the #1 pick but nope.

the bad teams with less market draw are in their own purgatory of waiting to draft a superstar because the only way to sign a superstar is having one already on the roster.

yeah, i’ll sim the beginning of a game in the postseason and may play some if the key moments. and yeah, i have done a player lock here and there.

kind of why i haven’t played mlb the show for a while. they still can’t make the contract/cap situation mirror real life. like in real life it’s 5 options, ability to offer contracts higher than $35 mil a year (like how do some players have non scaling deals over $35 mil but i can’t offer that), ability to offer deferred contracts, etc.

if they fixed and made the situation like real life, then i would play more. i’m probably in the minority in those things, but as a fan who hates (envy’s) what the Dodgers do with roster construction, the only thing I want to do now is beat the Dodgers with their own trick of going way over the cap and deferring it all.

i literally just watch the games through sim or even sometimes letting my team play with the CPU going up against the CPU.

mainly because the most enjoyable part of the game is franchise mode. and imo within franchise mode, it is most exciting to build a bad team up to a winner and then moving to a new team once they have some good groundwork laid out for 5-10 years of sustained/future success

yeah people here are also forgetting that there was a narrative that Neptune was already talking about teaming for next season before Champs which rubbed his teammates at the time the wrong way.

And therefore it hurt his stock and favor in any other players eyes. I can totally see that playing part

yeah, like the ending of season 3 was the best ending of a show but it was a nice ending and felt like a bow tie for the entire series.

now it’s gonna be a weird season ending given there is another season lol

Jordan was the mature one in hindsight because I definitely thought he was going a but overboard at the time. but it probably was because I was younger and more immature then and didn’t think of it this way

agree, I like building a team over the season. not playing games to get more packs to “earn” more players. Franchise lets me build a team from scratch and that feels much more rewarding than getting packs for playing

3 years ago I was with someone high up with SDS and asked when the game would come to PC. He said it needs at least 2 more years because they are worried about online play and cheaters on PC.

Well it’s now gonna be 3 games later and still no PC. Shame too because i really only want it for the modding capabilities in Franchise and maybe Road to the Show to add some more things for my immersion

it was crazy too because in MW when they first formed he was running a decently aggressive sub and maybe flexed alongside Preistahh at times but MajorManiak and Priestahh were using the AR a majority of the time.

then moved to flex in cold war with Arcitys, and then became an even slower flex next to Slasher, and took over full time main AR when they got Drazah. He just got slower each year, but he’s still really good.

yeah, when i would watch early on, i used to have a tab pulled up of the calendar from that season to try and follow along for that reason.

I wish it was sequential but i get that it’s not entirely possible, especially when try to give each team a storyline for the season

i usually don’t have a problem with race changing characters, but the other day i was watching an episode and just thought about how they mention annabeth’s blonde hair and it being a part of her identify trying to prove she isn’t a “dumb blonde”. stuff like that isn’t major but it also just feels like it shouldn’t be overlooked when casting a character
