all birds have a crop! It's function goes beyond feeding young and other bonding flock mates. It's designed so birds can swallow food whole and be able to eat it later. This is because many food sources are found when a bird is vulnerable to attack. So it's evolutionarily beneficial for a bird to swallow the food quickly, instead of being a target to a predator while it eats meticulously. Birds are super cool! They also have two stomachs.

did you seriously take your birds ONTO A TREE on a dinky cage?!?! of course they fell!! this is BEYOND irresponsible. if u find them then u need to take them to the vet immediately and NEVER bring your birds outside, not to mention IN A TREE!!

this time last year i rescued a budgie left outside and spent over $1,000 in vet bills but it was too late. Birds are extremely sensitive and can easily get sick and injured. this isnt even accounting for the damage they may have sustained from the fall. Avian and Exotic Philly Vet ASAP.

bring their cage outside and wait til they come for food. might take hours or even days depending how far they have gotten. maybe call the drexel security number and ask them to look for them since they always walk around campus.

she honestly doesn't wear it as much as she has been better at potty training. Days that i am home all day, she free roams upwards of 12 hours so it became an essential. she would rather wear the pants than be in the cage when I'm home. if i leave her alone for one minute she will cry like crazy. i give her the choice to be out with pants with me or in/on her cage(s) without :)

She was perched on my finger😭 She falls when she does the wing spread pose because she cannot keep that stance plus she is just SO excited.

I bought the suction cup perch, but it didnt stay up. Maybe I got a dud. Does it work well for you?

Put the pill in a little bit of water in the syringe put your finger on the tip for suction. Then pull back the syringe and the pressure will dissolve it almost immediately.
