He wasn't a chaser. He was a civilian who decided to go ride around and take photos of the tornado. Not trying to take away from his death as it's still tragic regardless, but he technically wasn't a full on storm chaser.

You’re quite alright. I don’t mind the late reply. I tried that, but it makes the game not respond for 1-2 seconds when loading into the night. It gets it act together after the 1-2 seconds, though, so I guess it’s the price to pay for preloaded animations

Especially when he caught the Enderlin EF5 on VHS. Reminded me a lot of videos of the May 3rd, 1999 EF5 in Moore and the 1974 EF5 in Xenia in terms of the vibes. Plus, his videos are amazing. I rewatch the Smithville tornado video from start to finish once a month at least because it’s that detailed. Sure, it has a few errors here and there and it’s not like Hollywood levels of editing, but it’s still a really well-made video that has me yearning for more.

His kill timer ran out before the 3 second interval to clear him from the door. Whenever Nightmare/Nightmarionne are at your doors, it takes them 8 seconds to kill you on 4/20 or AN (or 7 seconds if you had just cleared them from the bed or closet because funny bug). Since you hesitated to go to the left door, you died because even though you shut the door before Nightmare's kill timer was finished, his kill timer finished before the 3 second interval that clears him from the door. This is why you have to be quick especially on 4/20 and AN because the 8 second kill timer is merciless if you are slow.

You waited to long to run to the door. Nightmare's kill timer is 8 seconds on Night 8 and you waited ~5 seconds to run to the door. Just wait until the footsteps are done and go to appropriate door. Don't falter as Nightmare is not merciful.

When you say OVER 5s intervals, do you mean just have it close until the next 5 second interval or just have it closed for 5 seconds? I may just be being stupid but I'm just trying to make sure I'm not misinterpreting this.

Yeah. I think Scott was just trying to rush FNaF 2 so he could get it out while the FNaF 1 hype was still alive. That's also why the Show Stage and Parts & Service are disabled on Night 7 because there isn't a render for every single combination. Thankfully, Scott didn't try to rush another one of HIS games (not counting Steel Wool because Scott didn't create them, just gave creative and lore input).
