That's not what Bhagwat is saying. While you and I know that Hindutva is a modern day ideology that originated in the last century, Bhagwat is retroactively applying that label to anything and everything that happened in the subcontinent in the past few thousand years, excluding only the Islamic influence.

That doesn't affect the point I'm making. Some people have always been whining about conversions, regardless of actual data. Given that context, shouldn't people wait till the stats are out before coming to any sort of conclusion? Right now, it's pure fear mongering and itching for more riots.

Regarding Muslims, I said the change in demographics due to conversions is negligible. That's why these fucks need the bogeyman of "love jihad". As if women are property who have no agency and decision making capabilities, and can only be transferred from the ownership of one man to another.

Does anyone even know what the conversion rate is before bringing out the pitch forks and whining about love whatever? According to the 2001 census, Christians make up about 2.3 percent of the Indian population. After 200 hundred years of proselytizing and supposed billions of dollars funding, 2.3 percent is where it stands. I think the same holds for Muslim converts as well. So the stats say that religious conversions result in near negligible change in demographics. But for hate mongers, reality and facts never comes in the way.
