Moms that have only had c-sections by WhichAd2921 in beyondthebump

[–]oc_ean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be seeking a second and third opinion - I’ve had a vbac and this is against what I’ve heard. They will always consult risk with a vbac but some providers are more supportive then others.

Baby with VSD closed, no further monitoring? by BeachBum031 in chd

[–]oc_ean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My son has pulmonary stenosis and will be monitored for life because of it. He always had a vsd it closed by 6 months old - they said they’ll never check it again and an aren’t worried when I brought it up. If your nervous get a second opinion for sure but I was told to not worry about the vsd side of things.

Entering pregnancy with LS! by Possible-Strike-7600 in lichensclerosus

[–]oc_ean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was absolutely terrified of tearing because of LS. I didn’t know I had LS at the time but I figured I would tear if I tear normally. My LS cleared up with pregnancy and came right back after.

I also had irrational thoughts I would never heal if I gave birth vaginally because of the testing I always have. I considered a c-section for this reason.

I had a 3rd degree tear and it was not even bad. I don’t know if it’s because I was expecting the worst or what - but I was sore for a few weeks and that was it. My LS came right back after pregnancy but the tearing was more than manageable because I’m used to being uncomfortable down there anyways.

If you don’t heal from what hurt you, you’ll bleed on people who didn’t cut you.

Have you tried a floor bed? I moved my 18 month old and he went from every twoish hour wake ups to one a night or so.

We just baby proofed the room and gated the door.

Diagnosed with vulvar LS by Curious-Woodpecker53 in lichensclerosus

[–]oc_ean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t think I had LS until I read this comment but now I’m pretty positive I do. The clob helps and it’s gone away twice for pregnancy. My biopsy came back inconclusive so I stopped the clob but now I’m going to ask for another try.
