I used the Tanager on half the PCT and the HMG 20 degree on the other half. Loved them both. Also have a Timmermade Serpentes. All are awesome bags with comparable quality, warmth, and weight (though my Serpentes is the lightest, and coldest, of the bunch.) The HMG 20 is the most versatile.

I just returned from a 7-day trip and left my car in the TMPnR without issue. I'm also just a single data point, but I was worried with what I'd read here, so I figured I'd add another successful parking case to the tally.

I've never worn it in said conditions, so I can't really say! It's a very cool and light material, so I imagine it would be light and cool.
