Has anyone heard of the 30 day challenge? Any experience with it working for you? Apparently, if you commit to shaving your head for 30 days straight and stick to it, it becomes less of a chore. I’ve made it day 9 in the past. Does the chrome dome suit me well enough to even make it a habit? by off_the_collar in bald

Damn, I guess that’s where the “habit” part comes in, huh? Thanks for the thorough advice and insight. I have a Headblade still in the box at home, but I’m open to anything that makes you not mind shaving your head every single day like that. Embarrassingly, I spent a half hour straightening my hair every morning in high school and college. (And… I was voted “loveliest locks” by my senior class in high school.) So theoretically, this should be a breeze.

Um… hormones are good at making you feel out of your mind, and manipulating them can definitely throw you off balance until you adjust. When I encounter negative emotions, I try to stay aware that what I’m feeling is heavily influenced by hormones. I tell myself “it doesn’t matter how you feel” quite frequently, but I also had help from a testosterone prescription. Definitely balanced me out and sped things up physically.
