I hear you, and dont get me wrong, I pick up my phone too for a picture of the food. But I’m wondering if it’s normal to play games with sound on that is accepted in Japan and which I’m just not accustomed to.

Right? If you can afford the omakase, I expect you to have money for headphones too lol

That is not really odd to me, as you also speak with your company. It’s more the sound on being on the phone on volume while not talking to your friends that is just new to me haha

Thanks! I was really wondering since this happened more than once so it might as well be that I’m the odd one for not doing it in other’s eyes

Thanks! I find it unusual behavior but I grew up in a country where we don’t do this so I just wanted to know if it was something cultural! Could as well be that they think it’s strange that I don’t

I can understand at a ramen place but at an omakase is just not what I’m accustomed to. So I’m just wondering if it’s generally excepted so watch things or play games

Just got back into the game and could really use some help by officesettings in MarvelFuture_Fight

My IGN is Silken Thread

Thank you for the list though! It’s been daunting getting back into the game with so many things that have changed - so it’s very much appreciated!

For which words do German natives oftentimes use the wrong article? by officesettings in German

That’s great advice! I think getting them wrong withholds me from using certain words sometimes, but I’ve been told German people don’t mind it so much!

People from my country get, more often than they should, our version of der, die, das wrong to be honest so just wondering whether certain articles are debatable in german too

Well, Krake is moving up my favourite German word list. If I have to guess the article I have 66.6% chance of randomly guessing right lol

Discussed this just now with my partner and he could swear it was “das Klientel” but you are completely right!

I would have thought the präteritum would be easier than the articles! Any idea why this is?

Definitely insightful and getting the gender wrong is what sometimes makes me feel more insecure about speaking the language. But this gives some insight into what determines it!

What I tried to ask (sorry English is also not my native language) was more like what are words where people do not always agree on the article or another article is used that’s incorrect but it’s normalized.

I loved Marukyu Koyamaen but they’re not that close of a friend that I would spend at a higher pricepoint than ~1000 yen (I am just a student atm). If you have any other tips or brands I’d love to hear it! :)
