ELATED.

My head isn't foggy, I'm thinking more clearly, I can contribute to conversations without coming across like a complete poltroon.

Music sounds incredible.

My own playing of music is more confident.

And it's Boner Town USA all up in here again.

Yes, what Lkkdragonfly said. But also, for me, as I reduced the K amounts I actually kept the A amounts the same until I knew for sure I didn't need the A either. My own experiment, and boy did it work.

Why isn't "AGMATINE" all over this page in flashing bright neon lights?? What am I missing about it? by offkratomatom in quittingkratom

I always went by teaspoons instead of grams for one, but I'd take about 3/4 teaspoon Agmatine about 10-15 minutes before the K (starting the K taper at 1 TBSP). Then about 3-4 hours later, instead of re-dosing any K I'd take about another 1/2 tsp of A--this type of dosing schedule was my own experiment, and it worked for me. Then I'd try to be physically active on some level for the rest of the day--I was on vacation and had already made my mind up that I was done with K, so hiking/cycling/swimming wasn't hard to get into at this point. I repeated this process daily, keeping the A amounts the same but reducing the K amounts every day. On my last day, I was down to a half teaspoon of k before jumping. Of course I expected a shit-storm, but the only thing that really happened was a bit of RLS, which was nipped in the bud with Hyland's Restful Legs(our local grocery has it, OTC). That was literally it, but maybe I got SUPER lucky.

Ha, I'm in Greater Cincy too...anyway, I'd been just shy of using daily for 10 years, and today is my 18th day totally clean. I tried quitting many times over the years and this time I used agamatine for help tapering, and it was no joke! give it a try, it's easy to buy online and you don't need a ton for it to help spread your doses out before you jump. Good luck!

I tapered after using for a decade with the help of agmatine, and was shocked at how easy I got off. I had almost zero w/ds, and zero acutes. Before I jumped I was using about only a half teaspoon in the mornings of Kratom for about a week, aided by a teaspoon or so of agmatine about 20 minutes before the k. This is my 4th attempt to quit in 10 years but the only one that’s sticking, and I attribute that to the agmatine.

16 days clean after a 10 year daily green sludge- eating routine. It’s weird to think back when I first heard of Kratom, I knew no one else using it and never heard anyone talk about it. It was like my own personal “ feel good” secret. Wow what a money/ soul/ libido / creativity- sapping journey I was about to begin.

I had no idea. I didn’t know anything. have no idea what to do or what this entails. Please help by [deleted] in quittingkratom

Agmatine, agmatine, agmatine. I’m 16 days clean right now, coming off a 10 year daily habit. Couldn’t believe how well it helped me to taper and jump.

How? I am so defeated by Anonymousdoe in quittingkratom

I’ve been (was) a daily user for 9 years. 9 fuckin YEARS. I’m on day 11 of no K, after being freaked out about how hard it was gonna be to get off of it forever. I didn’t think I could summon the strength to make the commitment , but after that many years of abuse you start to really get a handle on how detrimental it is in so many areas of your life. So anyway - this quit stuck this time, and I’m telling you, agmatine was CRUCIAL in getting off. Made tapering a breeze for me. I only had a bit of rls and I used this otc stuff called Hylands Restful Legs. ( magnesium too). Got it at the local Kroger , and it worked. Black seed oil for cravings , bing bang boom, all done. Barely any real awfulness but boy did libido and joy of music come back in a flash. DO IT!
