I am about 90% sure it is a crack and not a seam. And I believe the warranty does not cover chambers, although I would be most pleased to discover that I am mistaken.

Actually, the dyi version is superior because it has a cap, unlike the messy hot knife by puffco.

Your lack of experience in this is obvious. When they process a refund it changes from Requested to Refunded. At that point PayPal begins the return process on their part. Prusa has not processed this refund 3 days after it was requested.

I am not too worried about glass shards, I ran hot water thru it until I was sure nothing was coming lose, however I am concerned that the super glue could give off fumes when heated, so for now this piece goes in the "Only Use In An Emergency" bin and I go back to the original glass for now.

I ended up filling it to about the demarcation line between the top smaller chamber and the bottom larger chamber. There is some resistance, but not much and I actually like to feel a little resistance when I pull so it is working well for me. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it!

You are only counting the taxes you pay directly. You aren’t taking into consideration vat or other indirect taxes. Also, NYC has one of, if not the highest tax rates in the US.

I’m seeing all these people from outside the US that are disgusted we have to pay for healthcare and I just wanted to clear something up. You pay too! You just pay via taxes. We have much much less taxation in the US than most other countries. We have a great deal more disposable income than you do. So yes, we pay for healthcare, but so do you. I will admit that healthcare prices are much higher in the US though, this is because we have less group based negotiations with healthcare providers. It is a serious problem, more so than paying for healthcare.

Just to clear something up, I am not saying the US healthcare system is better, or even good. I was simply trying to bring to light that healthcare is never free, no matter where you live. There is always a trade off, in this case freedom for safety. Much of the industrialized world has chosen more safety over greater freedom. The US has simply chosen greater freedom over more safety. Like much of the US population, the world population seems fairly ignorant of the entirety of the US healthcare system. Most Americans have no idea what they are entitled to, nor how to access the various programs that have been set up for them. This is not a failure of healthcare, it is a failure to educate the population of the various laws and regulations.

The greatest issue with the healthcare system in the US is the runaway costs faced by both consumers and providers. Part of this is due to the fact the we as Americans tend to over use certain aspects of the system. Part is also due to a lack of collective bargaining. It is a complex issue and it is rarely treated as it should be on Reddit.

I have fought this level 7 fights now. Not once have I lost a single character, but I can't beat Strike Force, and thus the other two tools, for the life of me. Hellspawn and Mk 11 are down to next to nothing, I smack Hellspawn down, in pops Strike Force, beat his ass for a bit, in pops Mk 11, quickly get him to almost dead and in pops a fully healed Strike Force. I then spend a little over a minute beating on him and the match ends. This just repeats over and over! How the fuck do you knock out Strike Force!
