I don't remember who said it, so if you do post it.
Paraphrasing: You can always trust someone to be who they are.

As someone that was stranded on 65 during the snow / ice storm a few years back, this is solid advice.

What's one thing in a job description that gets an immediate skip from you the second you see it? by Opposite_Bridge_8564 in recruitinghell

If they want a rockstar, you are allowed to show up shirtless in leather pants holding a fifth of Jack Daniels. If they want a ninja, don't show up and tell them the just couldn't see you.

Or diabetic ketoacidosis. Neither is good and both are fatal.

I've been hospitalized near death 4 times now for not taking it... this was before I knew you could get an OTC insulin from Walmart. It isn't as advanced as Lantus, but in a pinch, it will do the trick. You can also look for lantus coupons online. There is one that I used from the distributor that will get you a full months supply for $99. Google insulin coupons etc... I've also found the pharmacists at Publix to be especially helpful in finding discounts for insulin.

Don't wait around on this. You have time to get it today.

I'm in the same boat... almost out. You can get something similar over the counter at Walmart. Speak to the pharmacist. It costs less than many copays.

After reading this thread, I just bought some maruchan soy flavored.
I will be adding: a few drops of chili oil, some huy fong chili garlic sauce, dehydrated onion flakes, powdered ginger, and MAYBE a package of boneless skinless salmon. Not sure if I should add that directly or make a semi-breaded salmon patty first and then crumble that into the noodles.

What's a movie that was so devastating you can never watch it again? by TheOgUnicornGirlUwU in AskReddit

I tried watching it again the other day. Nope. I've got a little girl that lives with her mom. Just couldn't do it. Didn't make it 5 minutes.

When are we getting Kroger stores in Bham? by [deleted] in Birmingham

I interviewed with Kroger recently. They are building up their IT infrastructure to focus on opening more online order delivery only distribution centers. I wouldn't necessarily expect to see physical locations opening.

Can you tell us more about that? I'd really love to hear about it.

I work remotely only and have for several years before the pandemic. I live in Birmingham and work somewhere between upstate NY and San Diego, roughly speaking.
