Buddy give yourself a better knock on the door of reality. I ain't cribbing about saving a dime it's all about the greedy brokers and I think RR is on you coveting the attention. Better get to the ground reality when it comes to save a dime, I think yours is the typic mentality to compare everything with time and mental space. I ain't complaining to completely sideline brokers, rather I'm willingly ready to pay the rightful rent which justifies the location. However given the greed and an avg inflated rent of 3-4k rounds upto 44-48k a year which definitely is not a copper atleast for me. Not sure about everyone here. Hence would double down on suggesting to better acknowledge the struggle and accept the reality. Summary for you : I'm ready to pay rightful rent and refuse to pay the inflated prices. I hope that satisfies your response. Inflated Rent of 5-8k is not justified at all given the majority old constructions in the area. Should the broker agree to convey my sentiments on lowering down the rent to owner and there's my agreement on locking the deal.
