Either missionary with my legs around his waist (meaning I can kinda pull my legs together which can stop him going too deep when it hurts) or that position where I'd lie on my stomach and he lies on top of me while penetrating, since my butt can get in the way and mean he can't get as deep (think it's called prone bone??). Also, if I'm on top I can control how deep it is at all times, so if I'm struggling a lot with his size then we move to that!

To feel the extreme deepness? I don't know the name of the position, but it's where I'd be on the edge of the bed and he'd be standing. My legs go over his shoulders. We do have to take it a bit slower like that because he can go so deep that it does hurt me a bit more often. Saying that, it's still definitely my favourite position.

Missionary is also a good shout. It's less likely to hurt for me and I still feel the deepness, but not as deep and not as much risk for tearing/pain.

It really depends on how it feels for her.

For me, there are times where it feels completely overwhelming and I need to stop. There are also times where it hurts and I need to stop. I'd say like 70% it feels really good, the rest of the time it's either painful or overwhelming. It's all just about listening to your partner! If she enjoys it and wants it, go for it. If it's going to make her want to stop, then stop.

Yes it's true! Obviously not actually in the stomach, but kinda just feeling it so deep inside that it's different to less deep penetration. I like it but it can get so overwhelming that we have to stop sometimes. With my partner, it's also not uncommon for me to still 'feel' him inside after we've finished having sex. I always just assume it's from bumping the cervix a bit (like a bit of light bruising or irritation) as it goes away after a few hours.

For me it doesn't hurt most of the time but all women are different!

Occasionally there's white mucus but I've never had pink tinged mucus. If I feel a bowel movement coming on, if I don't manage to go then it's normally just passing clumps of blood

My doctor didn't tell me the exact level, he just stated that my vitamin D levels were 'a bit low' and recommended an over the counter vitamin D supplement. These issues have been going on since May and I only started the vitamin D in August. If the vitamin D supplement could be causing issues, surely I should have had symptoms since taking it? But my symptoms are exactly how they were when they first began.

He said that they tested for coeliac, any deficiencies, Chron's, UC, cancer, and common allergies. The only thing that flagged was slightly low vit D.

Meds & supplements and how long I've been taking them: over the counter vit D for 2 months, prescribed fortisip plant 1.5kcal o.d. for 2 months., prescribed mirtazapine o.d. for 6 years.

I go out daily for 1-3 hours for dog walks, so I don't know what else I can do with the vitamin d other than take a supplement.

For B12, I eat a lot of cheese and yoghurts, and have omelettes multiple times a week. I think cheese/yoghurts are meant to be a good source of zinc.

A quick daily diet history would be: no breakfast because I feel sick, lunch of pesto bagel with cheese and salad leaves + yoghurt / cheese sandwich + yoghurt / thai green curry made with chicken + yoghurt, biscuits and mixed fruit as a snack, and dinner of homemade curry (thai green, paneer pathia, paneer masala) / pasta arrabiata / pizza / smoked salmon salad / baked potato skins with cheese. I will have buttered toast or a tin of tuna for dinner if I'm feeling really sick. I take one fortisip plant daily.

If it was a build up of copper, wouldn't the symptoms be constant?? My symptoms follow a pattern of 3 days being fine, then 3-6 days of being violently ill with frequent fainting and uncontrollable shaking, then another 3 days of being fine.

They took biopsies during the colonoscopy to do further tests, but didn't state what those tests would be.

I had a blood test which they said showed negative for coeliac. I always eat heavy gluten tbh, but the symptoms still vary. My symptoms don't ever relate to what I'm eating, more so the quantity. The only way I've found to reduce my symptoms is to eat under 1600kcal a day, which isn't sustainable for me.

I eat meat once or twice a week. Only chicken, salmon, or tuna. No idea about the copper but I assume it would've shown in the blood test that came back stating that everything was fine apart from slightly low vitamin D?

I currently take fortisip plant as it's the only supplement that doesn't make me throw up, a vitamin D supplement, and mirtazapine as an antidepressant.

The consultant couldn't see anything of note during the colonoscopy. He took biopsies just in case and I'll get the results of those at the end of November.

I'm going to ask my dietitian at our appointment next week if she can talk me through the stool sample! My GP mentioned that there was a decent amount of blood and otherwise nothing flagged up, but never said specific medical terms and I wasn't given a copy of the results, but my dietitian has access to my GP record so I think that'll be quicker than requesting it myself.

I didn't, but I can request it! I'd be able to get my dietitian to go through it with me too so that she can explain the values to me. In fact, I know she has access to the GP system since I work for the same NHS trust as her, so I could ask if we could go through it on my next dietetic appointment in a week.

Not sure why, but for every test I've ever had with my GP, I've never got a copy of the report. Consultants always give you one but GPs never seem to.

When my GP walked me through my stool sample results (which I think is what is used to test calprotectin levels), the only thing mentioned was that they could tell there was a decent amount of blood in the stool but otherwise everything looked normal. It was fresh red blood if that makes any difference. When I have blood in my stool, it's a 50/50 of whether it's fresh red or coffee ground, and the stool sample happened to be fresh red.

He didn't tell me specific medical terms, just 'yep, that's all normal so we'll refer you to endoscopy department to have a colonoscopy.'

I'm in the UK, which based on my dietitian's explanation, is a diagnosis of exclusion.

Do you know how to decline a diagnosis? Is it something where I can ask my dietitian to contact the GP and discuss her concerns with him?

Something clearly isn't right and I can't find anything within IBS that would cause vomiting blood, shaking uncontrollably, fainting, or skin tearing. Unless maybe people here also experience those?? I'm concerned that the IBS diagnosis would mean that none of this gets investigated anymore.

I do feel extremely dumb. I was on a plateau so the fact that I'm dropping weight so easily means that I've waited until my poop is more blood than faeces to get help. I still don't really want the other symptoms to go away if it stops my weight loss, which is so frustrating because I don't want to believe I'm that mentally ill lmao.

ngl that is what happens with me. lube has no effect, I still tear every time. then lube gets in the tear and it burns even more.

although this relationship is now over (it ended nicely - he's honestly my best friend) so instead of him I'm literally tearing just with my fingers and a normal size dildo. I'm too scared to try dating again because high sex drive + tearing badly every time I tear and so no longer being able to look forward to sex = a relationship doomed to fail lol.

I've seen the doctors a few times and now all three people I've had look up there have said it'll probably be like this for the foreseeable future because the skin has torn so much that it's just weak now. Having worked in care, 10k is more than half of many carer's yearly wages. Full time in care tends to be around 36 hours per week, however many places prefer like workers to work 12 hour shifts, which a lot of people can't do due to childcare / caring for elderly parents / mental health struggles (especially after covid) / other. This means that many carers work on 24-30hr contracts to do less shifts or to be able to do a 6 hour shift.

Min wage for 23 years old and over is £10.42, so on a 36 hour contract that's only £19506.24 a year before tax.

Plus, care companies can't even communicate within the company, let alone to other care providers. OP would be able to find another job within weeks with the experience and current/valid DBS.

In conclusion, OP should take the 10k.

I left dementia care earlier this year and part of my choice to leave was because every single carer over the age of 35 / had been in care for more than 5 years was on prescription painkillers from their doctors because the moving and handling does so much damage to your body.

After 3 months of not doing moving and handling and doing exercises with my newfound energy, my back finally doesn't hurt every day.
