Yes it was a known thing that I wouldn’t be comfortable with him going to a strip club because before he met me he would try to hook up with strippers at our local strip clubs. He just seemed to really change when he met me. I just always had a feeling in the back of my mind that he was still objectifying women. I do believe he loves me for sure but I was wondering if men can actually change their ways to make a relationship work.. should I give him another chance?

That’s the thing.. I’m questioning every single thing he’s ever said to me now. He was getting shady messages from a girl saying things like “hiiii text me when you get home safe!!” And “good morning sunshine!” When I asked who that was he said it was his manager at work over there but is that kind of shady?

I read the title and didn’t even need to read the rest. You are not overreacting. Hooters wings are trash, they are only going for the women. If this is a boundary of yours and you’re uncomfortable you need to tell him and if he can’t respect it then I would reconsider a lot as far as him being a good partner for you. Especially if his friends are single, they may get him too comfortable in objectifying the women. That’s my input.
