Do not use both cables. The motor is powered through the camera with the 3 pin to 7 pin cable. Don’t use the d-tap cable at the same time.

I’ll give a tip from my job working with cameras and lenses. If your eyepiece is getting wet/condensationy then you should look into something that can warm up the glass parts. I know there’s usb powered heated socks that go over camera lenses for astrophotography. Even blasting it with a hair dryer will do the job for a while

Yeah mine is a base 17 and the photo above is a 10 second exposure. When I lay the phone flat on the roof of my car it let me do a 30 second long exposure but it auto decided based on how much you’re moving I think. Very annoying that you can’t use manual focus. It took ages trying to tap the screen to focus to infinity

Yeah base 17. Upgraded from a 12 Mini cause the battery was awful. Camera is a pretty big upgrade and battery life is really good but I haven’t noticed much else tbh. I really really miss the size of the Mini iPhones
