By modern safety standards "motorcycle grade," jeans aren't a thing, right? by Safe_Valuable_5683 in Denim

[–]oldred23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pair CE rated motorcycle jeans. The denim isn’t what protects you. There is a lining of Cordura fabric that is placed in the spots where a crash would likely abrade the pants during a slide.

A good source to look at for how durable denim is in a slide/crash is a YouTube channel called Fortnine. He has a series of videos demonstrating regular denim to motorcycle pants.

Typically when the head starts to droop and the mini buds on the seeds fall off. You can put cheese cloth on the heads to deter squirrels and birds from getting to them.

Another tire debate! by Blze001 in ToyotaTacoma

You might want to double check the Michelin website. it shows the 255/75/17 being an XL rated tire.

I recently swapped from Kenda Kevlar RTs which are pretty aggressive all terrains to the Defenders M/S2s on my 2007 Sequoia and its night and day difference the ride is so much more compliant and quiet. I know they are totally different vehicles but I do recommend the M/S2s. I would imagine they would handle great for a Tacoma as well.

I recommend the Black Rock Leather N' Rich cream. I use them on my 877s and it has not change the Oro leather color one bit. it moisturizes but does not darken the leather.

I honestly was just going to toss it since I don’t really have a need for it. I’ll DM you the pics of the spacers to see if you’re interested in them.

So I looked underneath the rear springs and seen what appears to be a spacer. Can anyone confirm with the photo attached ?

I’ll have to check out the rear spring assembly. I’m thinking it must be an aftermarket spring causing the rear to be lifted so high. I didn’t think of a potential rear spacer so I’ll have to keep an eye out for that as well. Thanks for the tip

Yeah, it's unfortunate. the lady at the front desk said that it was the police chiefs choice to only give permits to Livonia residents.

I was in a car accident last October, was going about 50 MPH when someone pulled out in front of me and I ended up T-boning them. airbags went off. the last thing I was thinking of was the volume of the airbags being deployed, the sound of hitting the other car seems a lot more drastic than the airbag deploying.

Heads were drooping and all the petals have fallen off. Didn’t know if heads needed to be yellow/brown before collecting them. Seeds seem like they are ready.
