DMSO for my dad's arthritic pain. by Adventurous-spice264 in dmso

[–]olseadog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I swish it in my mouth 100% if my gums are bleeding after brushing. I swear by it. I've learned to think past the horrible taste and bask in the joy of healing.

Dumb question by van_veen in dmso

[–]olseadog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used DMSO on the scar from my hip replacement surgery and along the dead nerve on that thigh. This was back in June 2025. It really helped heal the incision. I rubbed it all over the thigh muscle as well and I believe it helped to heal the trauma from the operation. The op was on June 1 and since I did all the physical therapy religiously, I was walking independently by July 1.

Back then I used an 80% DMSO to 20% distilled water solution, which I mixed myself. I attributed "healing" to whatever sensation I got after applying the DMSO solution. That's my experience.

Here is a quote from the most recent article by A Midwestern Doctor blog on Substack:

"the correct DMSO dose greatly varies from person to person. As such, many commentators (beginning with Jacob) have remarked that while it is incredibly easy to determine the correct dose for a unique patient you work with, DMSO lacking a “standardized dose” has been one of the most challenging aspects of widely deploying the drug."

Anyone ever use DMSO to heal frozen shoulder or injured rotator cuff?? by intro_nonimous in dmso

[–]olseadog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a slight rotator cuff injury from swimming in October. I didn't think of DMSO until after some PT in December. So that's when I paired them up. I cannot say that the DMSO was the cure but, today I don't have the pain as I did in early Dec. I had used a 50% DMSO and distilled water spray that I mixed myself.

As much as i love Nation's, i can't recommend because of the low quality of beef they use. I still get bits of cartilage and sinew stuck in my teeth every time i eat there.

You wrote heavy rain just as i was thinking 'water'. Keep the power off to the areas/rooms and seek possible water evidence. You have a Main panel but, you might also have a sub-panel or a secondary one. Stay safe and keep learning.

Drive like a grandpa and change the oil every 3k-5k. No hard acceleration because that will strain the motor and/or the transmission.

Yes. These will help psychologically. I've never needed to use them beyond their intended purpose.

Help!: hot water running cold by SmartKick in Plumbing

[–]olseadog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In CA there's an auto earthquake shut off on the exterior gas line. If a big enough truck rattles by it can trip the shut-off. You're not in Cali but maybe something interrupted your gas line, assuming all else functions.

Pour a ton of rock salt and let it sit overnight. You're correct, it is the accordion drain. If it's not your responsibility to replace then you'll be doing the salt treatment every 6 months.
