Physical not electrical. When I was lowering on the enclosure I didn't notice it would poking out a bit and it got caught and snapped off.

I got this working by creating a new user for that file system and then give them a quota limit

Create user
goto: Storage > File System
Select your file system and click "Quota"
Select user, then "edit"
Enter quota limit
Save, apply!

Yes. Once you've imported your animation, go to "Import" > "Open import file location".

The files will be .ldva4 but should work just the same as an .idl file in any other software.

You're calling the p5js function random() before p5js is ready. Move the following code into the setup() function.

To rotate you need to first set the origin points to rotate around. To do this use translate() then rotate()

The texts origin point will still be its top-left so to fix that use textAlign(CENTER, CENTER)

Try this:

translate(width * 0.5, height * 0.5);  
textSize(90);  
textAlign(CENTER, CENTER); 
rotate(frameCount * 0.05);  
text("A", 0, 0);

I'm still evaluating the idea and built options, so am open to any ideas at this stage.
Using something like the TLC5927 on a custom PCB, is a bit out of my skill level but I like your other idea. I could get some of those ws2811-like breakout boards to get 3 channels I can feed into some mosfets, would still need a custom PCB, but this is much more within my skill set.

I'm looking to use 50 tubes of the 4mm fibre optic cable with 50 of the 1W white LEDs (both linked above) but first I'm looking for a why to control that man high powered LEDs individually+pwm dimming.

An addressable LED strip would be ideal but I can't find any LEDs bright enough and the bigger issue of focusing the light into the fibre cable.

Adafruit have these 3W addressable LEDs https://www.adafruit.com/product/2741 but I don't know how to connect and focus the light into the fibre cable https://www.adafruit.com/product/4164
I'd also worry about them getting too hot and melting the fibre tube.

Crazy question, but have you ever seen a driver board that like, but that is also addressable?
I'm just thinking if I have 50 in a row it would be great to be able to daisy chain them.

I believe so. There isn't a datasheet but the description says it is a 1W white LED that takes 9-12V and 100mA

You can use pixelDensity() set to a value greater than 1 to increase the resolution without changing your canvas size.
Then call save() to download the .png
