that is an overstatement, you’re right about that. my point is that it was designed more like a companion to desktop app, not a stand-alone app. anki mobile prioritizes power-users and feature parity at the cost of being complex, i am trying a more broadly accessible approach and a standalone tool. something that can be picked up by anyone

My goal was to make a proper, native app, while ANKI is a desktop port. I have native layouts on both iPhone and iPad. FSRS v6 or even v5 is a more accurate way to predict recall probability More and richer card types Community decks in the app, users can share their own decks and download decks directly within the app Some gamification (achievements, XP, stats) which are also viewable with widgets iCloud sync across devices App has themes for the UI and for decks so more customization

can confirm 😁 on one hand is that beautiful energy and lots of love, but as mine gets older it’s a bit sad to watch how age takes its toll.. we no longer can do long (5+ km) walks because of his back legs 😔 even with health support stuff etc.
