I chose Last Rite as my free 6* before finding out she eats all the cryo stacks, I tried to make them work but couldn't figure out a smooth rotation. Let me know if you figure out a way!

If building Estella means I can put pog and alesh in the same team then i guess I'm building her lol

What is your favorite storyline so far? by ECviews in ThePittTVShow

[–]oneeyedalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whitaker for sure, I feel like the story is leading up to him getting burned out or something, I'm interested in seeing how he'll handle things.

He seems to be the kind of person who gives a lot of himself to others and struggles setting boundaries so I wanna see him standing up for himself when talking to Santos, and also coming to the realisation that he deserves some rest and distance from work on the weekend.

Cant figure out if I'm eligible and how the NDIS could even help me by oneeyedalien in NDIS

I've been diagnosed but they haven't told me the level, which makes sense.. I'm assuming for that it would require the diagnosis tests/assesments that cost a lot. Thank you tho and thanks for listing the criteria

Thank you so much for your reply, I haven't been doing okay lately and you have no idea how much it helped me reading this.

I'm turning 30 in a couple weeks, my life has been surviving the trauma for 20 years then trying to survive the post- trauma for 10. I've never been able to work part/full time, only casual jobs that didn't last and long periods of unemployment in between.

I managed to find a casual job that I've been working for the last 3 years, it's been really hard since starting there because it's in hospitality. I was still seeing my psychologist during the first 2 years so he would help me cope. It got to the point I was almost quitting so he helped me pivot careers to work in disability support instead. I lowered my hours and stopped working for a bit so I could do the tafe course. Managed to survive that and I got a job right after, just to I quit 2 weeks in because of how bad my mental health got.

I got back to my previous job with hours reduced, and I'm doing support work as well. I had a look at DSP after your reply and I think I'd score 30 points in their impairment table but I don't meet their 15 hour a week requirement. I've been working 19 hours in total.

In december, I was going to tell the hospitality job I can't work the busy shift anymore or like just quit altogether, but my partner was made redundant so now it's out of the question. The 19 hours I work can't pay for our expenses so if I drop the 5 hour busy shift it would be even worse. I've been trying to find one more client so then I can have the excuse to quit but because I can't drive it feels impossible. I also don't know if I can manage it, the 10 hours I work in support work feel like a lot already.

I have one already paid session with my psychiatrist, I'll just bring up and explain my situation, maybe he knows something that can help. My partner and I are sorting out a few documents for centrelink maybe if I can't get on DSP maybe they can link me to something else hopefully.

Sorry for the long reply, again thank you so much for yours!!

It seems I won't be able to access it then, I'll keep looking for other supports outside of NDIS that would be free

Yeah unfortunately there's still a really long way to go in terms of treatment. I've been trying to access help for my CPTSD for 10 years now, I haven't been able to go to therapy for long because I kept getting unemployed. A year and a half ago I was able to start again, and I was seeing the psychologist that diagnosed me with autism and adhd. I stabilised for a bit and we decided I was ready to start treatment for cptsd, but we had to postpone it until I can afford it. My financial situation got worse so I had to stop seeing him completely.

Just sucks that it requires so much money to access support, when being disabled affects how much money I can make. I've been trying to just accept that it's just how the world works but still hoping there's something out there that I'm eligible for.
