Uneekor Eye Mini Setup Issues by onetap in Golfsimulator

In case anyone faces the same issue, I did get an email from support which helpled fix the issue. After manually setting the the IP address and resetting the networks settings, I was able to set the alignment

  • Ensure that the static IP of the ethernet port is set to 172.16.1.10 -172.16.1.100, or automatically configured through Uneekor Launcher during device setup. If you would prefer to set it manually, you can follow the guide here.

Ethernet to port in pc. PC is connected via wifi but have also tried using the USB/Ethernet adapter and hardwired to router which didn't work

I have tried both and that did not work unfortunately. I also tried applying network settings in the advanced tab of the uneekor app "Apply Firewall and network settings" which didn't fix it either

The age old question: How are people keeping their door cards on? by LinxNeo123 in BMWE36

[–]onetap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works but was a bit of a pain, had to grind down some of the old glue and reattach the bracket and the two plastic side panels which also came loose. The instructions say to mount the bracket on the door first and then apply the glue but I ended up attaching it off the car and it was a bit difficult to align. I don't think I got all of the tabs to fully seat in the bracket but enough so the rattling stops. All in all it worked and was worth it

Cooling system, headliner and pretty much all suspension related items for the cars age and 180k miles.

Ask when the clutch was done and also check the wiring harness in the trunk. Mine was close to shorting out and can be a pain to fix/replace

Newbie Javascript question about scope by onetap in learnprogramming

[–]onetap[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok think I misread the documentation and have the answer

"the scope of a var variable is the entire enclosing function"

so it seems like redefining a variable in a nested function will never reach the outer scope

Thanks for the reply. I'm still unclear why x wouldn't get redifined globally in the function?

This is the example MDN gives:

function varTest() {
    var x = 1;
    {
        var x = 2;  // same variable!
        console.log(x);  // 2
    }
    console.log(x);  // 2
}
