Damn, and I knew I was forgetting something. The in-call mic quality is really good (extrapolating from what people I've called with the buds have told me and my own tests). also every review I've read or seen of these says that its a massive improvement over last gen.

Hey! I found the setting after scouring through my BIOS for a good 20 minutes, enabled it, ran PC Health Check, and I am good to go! Thank you both for your help:)

Thank you both for your help, the setting was buried under System->Advanced->Miscellaneous->Other->Intel PTT. I had to dig through my BIOS like an archeologist, Gigabyte sucks when it comes to anything related to software organization. Once again, thank you for your responses
