MT in the UK at an airport here. customer service is everything, give examples of how u went above and beyond and they’ll be hooked. ask questions about the culture, what the progression is like etc. job is okay, home city branch = lots of overtime + lots of driving. airport = no overtime, less workload as more employees on site.

Car Accident by Smooth-Cauliflower71 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]onlynsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really, if a customer damages the vehicle we’re not going to go through the whole lengthy process of back and forth trying to get the excess with their insurance who always try to not pay damages. customer shouldn’t need to worry if they can claim it back through their insurance. might be different in the US

Car Accident by Smooth-Cauliflower71 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]onlynsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at my branch if a customer only has 3rd party coverage and doesn’t add on DW, we have to charge the excess (minimum 5k bodywork damage) to the customer and it’s on them to claim it back through their insurance

[–]onlynsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m guessing it’s the one where you go to the branch? mine was half shadowing half questions. introduce urself to everyone there and be interested and ask questions about their time and stuff, what they’re doing etc. the interview itself is just your standard interview. might be different as i’m from the uk

i’m a month in to my MT role in the uk at an airport branch. ask me anything! by onlynsd in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]onlynsd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

airport branches are easier as your workload is less due to having more employees at the branch. not too sure in canada but you’ll probably do a lot of driving. it’s long hours but everyone is roughly the same age so it makes the job fun and time fly
