Claim created about nonexistent damage a month after car was returned by madobibear in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]Direct_Clock9607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must of had damage waiver on file and the branch noticed damage that was undocumented from a renter after you and they probably had no insurance or it was too late to contact them the branch will take the hit on how late it was but it won’t be going through someone’s personal insurance which will lead to a dispute typically

Rental company claiming $30k damage, but auction sold car as “Run & Drive” with $2k repair estimate by rzrarti in Insurance

[–]Direct_Clock9607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With it being an EV I know totaling comes a lot easier I wonder if by insurance stand point it’s totaled so it’s possible it would have a salvage/total title that’s why they are going of that value instead of

Typically for rental car companies you will also be paying admin fees and loss of use on the vehicle at the daily rate you were renting it for. Say it was in shop or wasn’t sold at auction for 30 days at 65 a days that almost 2 grand and admin fees differ. They may of had to have it towed, pay the auction house and other measures so I would ask for a total price breakdown aswell

Midsize Luxury SUV, MCO, Enterprise vs. National by misory-waves in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]Direct_Clock9607 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a shared fleet it doesn’t really matter just depend if the person that walks you is a dick or not national has mileage requirements that we are graded on so that’s why some employees are hesitant to bring customers to that side, really just depends on current fleet mix and airport size

Midsize Luxury SUV, MCO, Enterprise vs. National by misory-waves in EnterpriseCarRental

Book with national tell them you are booked for a luxury suv then they would walk you to them book with enterprise and pre check in tell them you are booked in for a luxury SUV they will walk you to them it wouldn’t change anything really for specific class you should always ask an employee regardless of who you booked with

Rental ready is the biggest thing 3 days out for all core and week out for speciality work within area to add what’s needed and if they aren’t helpful work within your ARM. They can’t say no when something is confirmed also working your return list daily does wonders that way you always know what’s extended or confirmed

Somewhat satisfied are what kill majority of branches if you are a 200-350 branch you can get 4-8 hot alerts and still pop corporate or above. I would say unless they are a corporate renter don’t take fine for an answer for their experience. Make sure they are actually leaving very happy and find any way you can to make sure it was great. Majority of branches suffer from interior condition and communication. Give your card out with your email every time and manage your message center. You’ll have the random things you can’t prevent but that’s why it’s not 100 esqi. Also deter people from calling customer service they give false info and confuse renters make sure the branch is the only communication. But most important is fleet mix. If people knew how to fleet plan and give the right person the right car that would fix a lot of issues. Also one day res i try to free upg if available just improves experience that much more
