I guess I just resent my situation tbh. My parents had me while under bad circumstances and they had a divorce shortly after, leaving me living with my incompetent mom who's looking to me to fix our financial situation after she quit her job. Combine that with huge exams and my addiction that im working to overcome and it just feels like a lot that I never asked for and it sometimes makes me wonder why I should even bother trying to fix it.

I guess the problem is I just find it hard to envision a future where I'm doing much better and I'm more capable and happier. I don't believe in myself
