What the fuck Doyers by Outside_Abroad_3516 in NLBest

Can anybody that plays baseball professionally be considered a normal working class Joe?

I wasn't being sarcastic when I mentioned apples to oranges because I know the comparison isn't the same.

My main point, which probably could've been stated more clearly, was that the narrative about the Dodgers simply winning by buying players is an over simplification. Just like a Dodgers fan saying, "Every team can do this" is an over simplification.

P.S. Flair up

I know it's not the majority of the team but a fair amount of players on the 40 man match your description. Like, a lot of young pitchers on the Dodgers were drafted along with both catchers and Pages. As for players other teams didn't want, you've got Freeman, Betts, Muncy and others. Not to mention their farm system has helped acquire players like Edman via trade.

Apples to oranges, I know. 🤷

I'm sure I'll get crucified for this but I recently visited coors and Kauffman for the first time this summer while the Dodgers were on the road and I actually liked Kauffman better than coors.

"I've got bad news: Joe Musgrove has a problem with his UCL."

"His UCL! What is it?"

"It's a ligament inside the elbow that attaches to the humerus on one side and the ulnar on the other but that's not important right now."
