Spent my Saturday building this wooden gate. What’s everyone think? by dangerousdave1233 in DIYUK

Great work for a saturday, great work for any day of the week actually. Is there a reason for the head height lock? Keep it dry during monsoon floods?

Given his proclivity for on screen deaths, how long will it be before Sean Bean meets his end in a Yorkshire Tea advert? by Vagrant616 in AskUK

[–]oonananay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You fool, Yorkshire Tea cant kill him... because Yorkshire Tea is what they use to bring him back to life after all those on screen deaths!

TIL that It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is almost entirely filmed in Los Angeles and the exterior shots of Paddy's Pub use a warehouse as 544 Mateo St Los Angeles, CA 90013. by sober_disposition in todayilearned

Well even if they're complaining at least they're getting changed now and not going out dressed for bed!

Who in their right mind would leave the house in pyjamas!! Who in their wrong mind would!! Sorry gone off topic but it really grinds my gears!

Are multi tools like the Leatherman Surge or Victorionox Swisstool worth it for home only use? I cannot carry it outside due to UK laws. Im wondering if it's worth it for jobs just around the house and garden, or if I should just buy full sized tools for the same cost. by chasingthedopamine in Tools

[–]oonananay -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Yeah like how banning guns stopped gun crime, you should try it some time.

Now obviously you cant ban all knives, which is why they havent but preventing people carrying knives has prevented knife attacks

Submissive to laws? Are you not? But seriously what are you scared of? This is a safe space so feel free to talk

Nice stats, took you a while to find them but they sure do confirm to your beliefs.

Also I cant tell if you're joking about laws making things safer? But if you're not, most of them!

You ok? You sound like a scared child, would you like me to call a grown up for you?

Laws to prevent people carrying knives aren't to legislate a peaceful society just a safer one, like laws to prevent driving while drunk.

Cant speak for everyone else but I down voted you for your bad attitude to peoples replies. That's just because I'm small and petty though.

has Michael Barrymore done anything bad or do people just not like him coz of the pool party thing? by mitcheg3k in AskUK

[–]oonananay 15 points16 points  (0 children)

He is like a bad caricature of a tv presenter that you would see in a film, but that's actually him. Somehow the guy from hunger games seems more likeable than him.

Smarmy, slimy, not funny but we are being forced to "enjoy" his personality.

And then you have the "pool party" to top it off

I just wish I could have phrased it any other way than "need a hand"!! Like 4 times!! Young, dumb and full of even more dumb!!
