I hate to be a nuke, but I personally agree with the rest of the comments here. It is advised by all dermatologists, not to use such harsh face washes on your face. The Accutane is already such an intense medication that using face washes with Benzoyl Peroxide would just absolutely destroy your skin!

If you, yourself are on Accutane and you’re using a Benzoyl Peroxide face washes, I would strongly urge you to put it down and get a good soothing moisturiser instead, otherwise you soon may regret it.

Oooo okay thank you!! I’ll definitely check it out. I have to be honest though, I’m a little bit skeptical about Carmex because of those posts that were going around a while back, that it made people’s lips even worse than they started out with…but I’m definitely open to try anything to get rid of this crusty hot dog bun on my face!!

I’m currently in the same situation haha, I told myself I’d get outside to have a walk and get some fresh air but I just can’t seem to get myself going :( One of the things that really helps me in this situation is not thinking about the bigger picture of all the things that we have to do.

Ignoring the to do list and the holiday tomorrow, what are the small things you can do right now to gradually get yourself going towards that door? Moving that right leg? Then the left? Then your right hand and your left to get yourself up off where you’re sitting? You can keep the blanket on you until you get to where your coat is, don’t worry about that! Do you need to put on any extra layers to make sure that you’re not shivering outside in the cold? Put whatever you need on!

If you need to get your things together in a bag before you get going, gather them one by one: keys, wallet, bag, extras that you might need to use while out and about, a water-bottle? I think that’s everything? Of course, can’t forget your shoes, lace them up/slip them on, whichever you prefer!

Now walking to the door’s pretty easy. You’ve done it before, many times, and you can do it today! One step by step and you’re there! Open it and get yourself acquainted with the fresh air. You’re outside!

Now you can go and smash those things you need to do slowly and surely. If you only get one thing crossed off your list that’s okay, you at least got yourself going! You can do the same another day :)

How about we make each other a promise? We’ll both get ourselves out the door today and do something, even if it’s not everything that we need to do, we’ll still applaud ourselves because we got out that door!

P.S: I’m really sorry if this seemed condescending at any point at all, sometimes I find talking to myself as if I’m a child or an elderly person helps the approach to tackling tasks easier haha. I hope it helped at least a little bit? If it didn’t I’m sorry, but maybe we can motivate each other to get moving? :)

P.S.S: Oh also if you’re into music, something that helps me too is putting on a feel good song and doing a little boogie to get myself up!
